The vision

A new internal B2B application for GROHE promotional products that enables flexible and fast marketing

The scenario

Reduce waiting times and costs

GROHE is one of the world's leading suppliers of sanitary solutions and kitchen faucets and is part of the LIXIL Group, a global water technology and building equipment company. GROHE sells its products to plumbers via sanitary wholesalers. For this purpose, the sales staff use an internal app that enables them to present the latest products to local installation companies and introduce new discount campaigns. Previously hosted on-premises, the app required maintenance by an external agency, resulting in high monthly fees and long waits for updates.

The solution

The perfect basis for future business success

The redesigned cloud-based app not only offers a responsive and  intuitive user interface that allows GROHE’s internal marketing department to maintain master data independently, resulting in savings on monthly maintenance costs and external agency services. Thanks to its high level of compatibility with other systems and channels, it also allows GROHE to automatically collect data on the success of campaigns and generate reports directly from the app. In this way, the company can benefit from the new sales app's increased convenience and reduce costs while also benefiting from data-driven decision making based on reports.

How we did it

Migrating to AWS with the Storm Innovator

Storm Reply re-launched GROHE’s internal sales app using the Storm Innovator and migrated it to the AWS cloud. The Storm Innovator is a framework developed by Storm Reply that is based on best practices in the area of cloud-native web applications. This enables the experts to keep development costs as low as possible and reduce time-to-market to only three months.

‘The new app saves us ongoing monthly costs and allows us to provide our sales colleagues with new discount campaigns quickly and flexibly. The usability of the modernised app is highly appreciated by our employees and it also contributes to a much more agile and efficient workflow.`
