“Green Cloud Computing - what we need to change”
Through the use of efficient infrastructure management, innovative technologies and platform engineering, Liquid Reply is able to define a strategic approach to minimize the environmental impact of digital systems. It will explore which practices such as containerization/Kubernetes and cloud computing can improve resource utilization and reduce energy consumption. In this presentation, Max Körbächer, partner at Liquid Reply, will show how this becomes a reality in the implementation of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery), infrastructure scalability and synergy between application and platform. It will also introduce the role of platform engineering and the mindset of platforms as a product in reducing carbon emissions and promoting environmental sustainability.
