Digitalization of the production process
We supported a global energy conglomerate in the kickstart of their digital transformation program with the objective of digitalizing both their upstream and downstream sites: key initiatives focused on the HSE (Health Safety & Environment) and Asset Integrity domains. We helped our client in creating new meaning for their business: through a collaborative and design-driven approach we supported in re-thinking analogue processes and in implementing new solutions leveraging a forefront technologic stack.

Our method
A cross-functional team working in agile sprints
We integrated our team with client’s one and ran an agile, iterative program organized in weekly sprints conducted by small teams of designers, developers, ICT specialists and on-field site representatives. We also involved core users in our process, in order to collect their feedback along the way and accordingly refine our direction. This led to rapid achievement of the final objective and a first release of digital models and systems.

We designed and developed fully responsive digital products containing and showcasing information related to the most important production site processes. By giving users access to real time KPIs, aligning them with precautionary alerts and allowing them to quickly operate, this solutions unleash the power of data providing key-information to all actors involved.
