Oracle ERP Cloud to enhance Siram’s cloud journey

Digital transformation in Enterprise Resource Planning

Scenario

Siram, a leader in energy services and facility management, has chosen to embark on a process of digital transformation and, in particular, to renew the company’s ERP systems. The main objectives of the project were the optimisation of the operational and administrative processes, the reduction of maintenance costs and an increase in efficiency and safety levels.

The full migration from the Oracle e-Business Suite solution to Oracle ERP Cloud, supported by Business Reply, led to a significant simplification of business processes and system architecture and, simultaneously, to a reduction in the purchase costs of application solutions.

Solution

The project developed by Business Reply, the Reply Group company that specialises in the implementation of integrated systems based on the Oracle Application Suites, enabled Siram to continue along the path of digital transformation, through the adoption of the Oracle ERP Cloud solution. This solution makes it possible to introduce efficiency and value throughout all business processes, including in areas not of a purely administrative and accounting nature. This opens the possibility of using new technologies including Mobile, Social, Analytics, Big Data and IoT. The implemented solution required the use of the full Oracle ERP Cloud suite to support the administration and accounting, purchasing and order management processes, as well as contract management activities related to orders and inventory.

Oracle Cloud services were also used to facilitate a real-time Business Intelligence process and to make it possible to effectively manage the infrastructure integration with third-party systems.
