With COMOS Mobile Worker, Siemens is simplifying the life cycle management of process plants. The app enables maintenance and servicing technicians to collect data on different plants in a structured way, access this data while on the move, and keep an eye on upcoming tasks. This makes it much easier to plan inspection visits efficiently. The system allows technicians in the field to navigate to the site of the operation in the often complex plants and benefit from direct access to relevant data for their workflows.
They can digitally document any changes made. These are automatically fed back to the connected systems.
It is often very difficult or even dangerous for humans to access the machines - for example in power plants or in the chemical industry. Autonomous mobile robots (AMR) can help here. However, controlling them has so far required special expertise and the introduction of special software.

Thanks to the integration of the Roboverse Reply Platform into ‘COMOS Mobile Worker’, autonomous robots and drones from different manufacturers can now be easily scheduled for inspections using the Siemens app. If they detect an anomaly during one of their deployments, the system immediately triggers an alarm and provides the employee with all the relevant information. In addition, real-time data, augmented reality and navigation functions help to optimise maintenance efficiency and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Depending on the application, either the robot or the maintenance employee transfers all measured values and data to the app's database using the COMOS Mobile Worker platform. This way, the solution prevents the creation of data silos and enables holistic analyses.
The direct integration of these functionalities into the Siemens app that is already in use means that the workflow for employees remains almost unchanged. They do not need any additional knowledge but still benefit from automated support.

Automatic reading of measuring instruments
With the help of specialised AI models, the Siemens app, which is integrated into the Roboverse Reply Platform, evaluates the images taken by the drones and robots of the respective machine. This makes it possible, for example, to digitise measured values from analogue instruments or to carry out automatic visual inspections.
Manual control for individual support
