FASHION TREND SCOUTING
In this session you will hear from Francesco Coccia, Senior Manager at Technology Reply, Oracle Platinum and Cloud Select Partner, on how they have used the Oracle Business Intelligence Platform and Visual Analytics to harness Instagram and its 1 billion+ monthly users, to discover trends in fashion. Thanks to an innovative visual approach to exploring data, including the construction of a neural network, Technology Reply have been able to classify images by detecting categories of clothing. To enhance these insights, through Sentiment Analysis and Opinion Mining, they have made it possible to highlight emerging phenomena, trends and business-critical issues quickly, answering questions like - What is the reputation of the brand? And what is the buzz on the web about a new product?

Move & improve Lufthansa enterprise application to Oracle Cloud infrastructure with docker and kubernetes
In this session learn how Red Reply have lifted and reshaped the worldwide Siebel based Claim and Sales Management System of Deutsche Lufthansa to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Lufthansa are now essentially the first company in Germany who have migrated such a complex Oracle Enterprise-Application to the OCI. We will discuss the Project from different angles such as: The challenges in running Siebel in docker on Kubernetes (K8S), which Database architecture to use, when to use Docker and when to use oracle OCI platform services, the underestimation of Network setup, how to wrap all this in a CI/CD pipeline and last but not least, the reduction of the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for Lufthansa.

Blockchain smart insurance platform
The Smart Insurance Platform is a project developed within the Insurance Blockchain Sandbox, an initiative by CeTIF, Reply and IVASS (the Italian regulator for the insurance market). The project has been promoted by AON Reinsurance Solutions with 4 Iitalian insurance companies and 3 banks. The platform aims at issuing and handling instant insurance policies for travel protection, with an automated claim detection and calculation based on rules written in chaincode and external data certified by Oracle.
