Syskoplan Reply, the SAP technology expert within the Reply Group, has been awarded the SAP Quality Award in the “Innovation” category for a further project involving SAP Xella Baustoffe. The award honours the latest SAP solutions and was presented in Mannheim’s SAP Arena. Syskoplan Reply recently received the gold award in Italy for a customer project for the SEA Group.
The silver award winning project is an innovative and cloud-based customer engagement solution (CRM) developed for Xella Baustoffe from Syskoplan Reply. The internationally active Xella Group develops, produces and sells building and insulation materials. As part of Xella’s digital strategy, CRM is the platform for increasing sales excellence, professionalising lead and pipeline management and improving customer experience.
The project comprises the implementation of the cloud solutions SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Service Cloud and the SAP Cloud Platform, in order to ensure readiness to tackle new service and growth areas within the planned digital roadmap. The solution developed by Syskoplan Reply is characterised by its efficient and intuitive user guidance – especially on mobile devices – which is geared to Xella's processes; it offers specific context-related apps tailored to Xella Baustoffe using the SAP Cloud Platform. For example, the apps enable efficient and effective processing of queries with direct integration into the SAP Service and Sales Cloud to relieve the workload of field staff. The quotation app supports the calculation of discounts (project, customer and material-specific) and the transfer of conditions to the ERP system. The use of agile methods and the consistent involvement of users ensured a high degree of acceptance towards the solution. Following the piloting and introduction to Germany, the international roll-out into other countries is now on the agenda.
