As part of a research project, Fincon Reply developed the proof of concept ‘PDFChat’. The GenAI-based chatbot makes it easier for insurance customers to understand their contracts.
At Fincon Reply, we asked ourselves what it would actually be like if every insurance customer could receive comprehensible answers to questions about their contract. We developed the "PDFChat" proof of concept as part of a research project. This is a Generative AI ("GenAI")-based chatbot that makes this possible: customers can upload their insurance documents to the streamlined application and ask precise questions in plain language without navigating through incomprehensible insurance jargon themselves.
"PDFChat" offers a worldwide 24/7 service and hyper-personalised answers to individual questions. It's a classic win-win situation: customers receive the correct answer immediately without waiting on a hotline, and the responses are clearly formulated. Customer satisfaction increases as customers obtain the information they need quickly and easily. Simultaneously, insurance companies benefit from increased customer loyalty and reduced support-level enquiries. Direct interaction with the bot and AI-supported analyses of customer interactions also significantly enhance service quality.
