Azimut has chosen Reply and Google Cloud for the development and implementation of a project aimed at transforming the onboard experience completely. During the prestigious 45th Cannes Yachting Festival, Azimut, the world's leading shipyard, presented one of its latest creations: Magellano 60, an icon of nautical elegance. The experience aboard this model is also made special by the integration of artificial intelligence, which for the first time combines boat management with smart home functions.
Reply's app, powered by Google Cloud technology and tested on the Magellano 60, enables voice control for entertainment, lighting, climate, and household devices. The system also offers real-time data while on board, allowing ship owners to monitor water and fuel levels, thus optimising resource management.
The partnership between Reply, Google Cloud, and Azimut has produced a versatile app with IoT and AI capabilities. This combination allows for advanced conversational intelligence, enabling queries for specific knowledge domains, such as on board technical manuals.
This project promises to take the navigation experience to a new level, ushering in a digital transformation that will make life on board smarter and more fulfilling.
