Offer Strategy Optimizer: automating the commercial offer configuration

Sytel Reply supported the Customer in designing and implementing a product lifecycle management tool aimed at managing the workflow of the commercial offer requirements to increase efficiency and full control over the requirement process. Given the benefits of introducing the tool and automating part of the offer definition processes, the Customer asked to Sytel Reply to extend the scope of use and features to improve the next stage of the Commercial Offer lifecycle: the configuration phase. Sytel Reply design a centralized solution to automate the configuration of canvass promotion on multiple and heterogenous systems like CPQ, Billing, and Digital Channels from a single and unified tool and control the entire canvass process to monitoring and control the activities planned.

Challenges

- Integration of different applications to be configured: Vlocity CPQ, Siebel, Kenan and digital channels 
- Understand the client's commercial offer configuration processes and the information needed for new promotions launch
- Introducing a new tool that modifies the working workflow among all the stakeholders is always difficult (resistance to the processes and procedures change)
