Release of eCDR-Pro 1.2

Solidsoft Reply has released eCDR-Pro 1.2, enhancing its capabilities to safeguard the integrity of CD registers and ensure patient safety in the UK.

eCDR-Pro 1.2 was deployed across CHFT's two sites on 15th April 2024. The solution, co-designed with CHFT and tailored for the NHS, digitises paper processes, fostering seamless communication between pharmacies, wards, and theatres. This empowers NHS Trusts to efficiently manage CD flow from ordering to supplying and administration in dynamic hospital settings.

The eCDR-Pro 1.2 release includes the following features to ensure patient safety, improve CD governance and regulatory compliance.

Key features of the eCDR-Pro 1.2 release include:

• Expanded Register History Viewing: A new feature grants an unrestricted view to CD register event data, enabling staff to track usage seamlessly whilst providing transparency and accountability.
• Enhanced Performance: Optimises workflow efficiency by improving system responsiveness and reducing staff wait times for continuous actions.
• General Stock Reporting: Introduces new pharmacy reports reflecting general stock and named patients CDs available for wards, boosting efficiency in reviewing patient control drug activities.
• Enhanced Security Measures: Improves access to ward and theatre locations, allowing dashboard viewing display in open areas like A&E for staff observation. Also, enhances the handling of signing and witnessing credentials.
• Streamlined Workflow: Enables pharmacy technicians to create and reject orders directly on wards, streamlining processes for better efficiency.
