Jean Fraiture, Internal Audit Director, Euroclear

Jean, what did you really like in your role at Avantage Reply?

At Avantage Reply, I felt supported and encouraged to take initiatives in many areas. For instance:

  • I was supported to develop client relationships and helped to approach new clients through my internal network and the sharing of experience with peers. I learnt how to identify sales' opportunities and to promote them.
  • I was also encouraged to develop my expertise in the area selected. I freely decided the area(s) of expertise I wanted to develop and had many opportunities to put it (them) into practice (writing white papers, running internal courses, preparing client proposals, etc.)

According to you, what differentiate Avantage Reply from other consultancies?

An effective international network:

  • Through internal events, internal training and client projects, I had the opportunity to meet and work with peers from Belgium and abroad. The relative size of Avantage Reply and the willingness to deliver integrated solutions provide you with a lot of opportunities to meeting Avantage Reply consultants from all countries and different divisions.
  • The networking culture of Avantage Reply is also part of the differences. After some months within Avantage Reply, to better share knowledge and to leverage on the team’s experience, you rapidly develop your internal network of experts with whom you communicate regularly.

What was one of your most important experiences at Avantage Reply?

I really appreciated being in charge of the implementation of an integrated solution. I acted as project manager and as business expert. The first role offered me the opportunity to better understand IT challenges and to better link business objectives and IT constraints and opportunities.

What advice do you have for former and/or current consultants and staff?

Be involved and committed in the development of Avantage Reply’s practice. Leading initiatives and continuous learning is fun and is fundamental in today's fast-moving world.
