The Macros eSuite2Connect is a comprehensive omnichannel solution that combines the secure data exchange components of FTAPI with the digitization and automation software software of Macros Reply. The portfolio includes web forms for the input channel that can be customized within minutes, as well as output via Outlook plug-ins or via eNform. Macros eSuite2Connect ensures a General Data Protection Regulation compliant connection between sender and receiver and thus forms the basis for subsequent automation and processing of data.

Outlook PlugIn

The Outlook plug-in is the best way for companies to send information via a secure channel. This user-friendly method does not require any change in the employee's behaviour: the employee writes his e-mail text as usual, adds the recipient, subject and attachment. A "download button" for the attachments can be integrated directly into the e-mail or alternatively inserted at the end of the mail. The employee selects the security level via drop-down menu and defines the duration of the availability of the delivery. The administrator can specify these settings beforehand.

The addressee – whether customer or employee – receives mails sent by the FTAPI Outlook plugin in his ordinary e-mail inbox. For the recipient, the sender, subject, name of the attachments and message text are visible. Exception: For an e-mail with security level 4, even the message text is encrypted end-to-end. The download of attachments is started either via the "download" button integrated in the e-mail or via the menu bar. The attachments can be stored in the download folder or anywhere else.

Web interface

The web interface is an additional option besides the Outlook PlugIn to communicate GDPR compliant. It can be used to send data of all types and sizes within a company and across company boundaries. Similar to an e-mail client, a new message can be generated after opening the web interface. As with the Outlook plug-in, an attachment can be added, security level can be defined and the validity period can be determined. With security level 3 or 4, data and/or messages are automatically encrypted locally on the device before being sent. The data and/or message is decrypted by entering the SecuPass key - an additional password created by the user- on the recipient's terminal device. The end-to-end encrypted transmission means that nobody but the sender and recipient are able to open the attachments or read the message. Not even FTAPI and Macros. After the recipient has downloaded the attachment, the sender receives a download confirmation.
