Dark processing refers to the automated handling of processes without the participation of a case handler. The goal should be to handle as much of the process as possible "dark". But the fact is that not every business process allows for fully dark processing and ultimately, human processing is necessary. Macros Reply supports every facet of procedural processing:
Dark Processing = Full Automation
Input management is automated simply via text recognition (OCR/ICR) and intelligent distribution of incoming mail. Using triggers, the processes are guided up to and including output management. Correspondence is generated without the assistance of a case handler. One example of this kind of fully automated process from inbox to outbox would be the sending of policies in the event of loss.
In the background, Macros eNform works as a kind of bus and ensures transaction-secure processing of each step. Alongside Macros eWorkflows and eChecklists, Macros Reply also offers third-party BPM systems.
“Grey” Processing = Partial Processing
Processes which need to be processed by a case handler can usually proceed at least partially automatically. In this way, incoming mail is forwarded through input management and distribution directly to the correct inbox in your company. This is where execution is carried out by the case handler and where the output process is launched. The procedural processing can in turn be managed via Macros eWorkflows. Sequences, escalations, rollers etc. for sequential and parallel workflows can be predetermined. Or you can rely on the connection of a business process management system for process routing.
